If someone told me I’d end up running a large microgreens farm, I would’ve laughed and said, “I can’t even figure out what I’m doing today, let alone what I’m doing with my life yet.”

After finishing school I landed the “safe” corporate job, but inside I felt so unfulfilled. I quickly slipped into a depression staring at a screen all day under fluorescent lights, counting the hours til I could go home.

On the weekends I started growing microgreens in my parents’ spare bedroom just to feel alive again. It brought back a feeling I hadn’t felt in years and gave me a sense of purpose. They tasted amazing and family and friends kept asking, “Can you bring me some more next week?”

That tiny hobby, one rack in 6 sq ft of my parents' house, started giving my life purpose again. It grew into Living Earth Farm, which became one of Canada’s largest microgreens operations. We scaled to 1,500+ trays a week and over $750K a year using the simple, reliable systems I now teach to gardeners around the world.

After 13 years of selling microgreens and teaching others, the question I get most is:
